REGATTA COUNTDOWN
The regatta countdown is measured by two central hands controlled by a push-piece at 4 o’clock. The minutes goes back one minute at each click of the push-piece until the desired position is reached. At this point, it is sufficient to press the push-piece at 10 o’clock to activate the chronograph function. The hands start to move and to indicate the minutes and the seconds remaining until the start of the regatta. The countdown period (5 minutes) is marked on the dial and on the rehaut in beige, perfectly matching the colour of the Super-Luminova® and of the decalque

NAUTICAL TACHYMETER SCALE
The dial carries the nautical tachymeter scale expressed in knots, with values from 30 to 1.5 knots. The knot is a unit of speed equal to one nautical mile (1.852 km) per hour. Your watch is able to measure the average speed of the yacht over a defined distance (1 nautical mile). One press on the start push-piece automatically activates the chronograph functions for the calculation of the average boat speed. After one nautical mile, one press on the stop push-piece stops the chronograph functions: the central chronograph minutes hand on the dial will indicate the average boat speed on the dial scale.

P.9100/R
The watch features the P.9100/R automatic calibre, the first inhouse automatic chronograph movement with Regatta function entirely designed, developed and created at the Manufacture. This is an evolution of the automatic calibre P.9100 with a coupling Flyback chronograph and column wheel; it keeps the same diameter (13¾ lignes) but is slightly thicker and has 26 components more (328 in total) due to the added countdown function.
